Her trainings in yoga, meditation, breathwork, reiki and other natural healing modalities offer a holistic and preventative approach to wellness. While her ‘niche’ Seasonal Somatics (Mind/Body awareness) practices help to ground participants in whatever ‘season’ of life they find themselves in. Cultivating a sense of intention and purpose that is flexible and constantly evolving.

In the field of Massage Therapy, Alisha has experience treating many chronic conditions such as whip lash, herniated disc, SI dysfunction, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis. Acute issues such as sprains/strains and fractures. QUALIFICATIONS & LIFE EXPERIENCE: Alisha completed her CMTO Requirements to become an RMT in 2020, graduating with high honours and an award of Academic Excellence from the Academy of Massage Therapy in Ottawa.

She was introduced to Yoga and Meditation practices at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY in 2008. As a collegiate athlete, studying for her BA in Liberal Arts, the combined practices offered a means to further augment her athletic/mental performances. However most significant was their benefits to her overall mental health and wellbeing.

Since then she has studied under many different mindfulness practitioners in the US and abroad. After moving to Canada in 2015, she underwent her Yoga Teacher Training at the Bhodi Tree Yoga Centre in Kemptville. She quickly discovered a passion for sharing the practice with others and has since facilitated more than 10,000 hours of private, public, corporate, mini retreats, workshops and more since 2016.
